It’s official! I’ve joined Symbolia as Creative Director! Symbolia is a tablet publication that combines incendiary reporting with thoughtful illustration and comics. Our goal is to provide an immersive, engaging experience for a new generation of newshounds. Symbolia merges the types of work I love to do most, so I can’t express how pumped I am to be collaborating on such an exciting and timely project.

Book of Secrets!

I contributed to the Book of Secrets, edited and assembled by My Girl Thursday for Zine Appreciation Week at her blog!  The proceeds from the sale of the digital zine will go to the YWCA.  It was never going to be a secret which secret was mine, so I’m just accepting embarrassment for the sake of charity.

Bird Wizards will also be featured during Zine Appreciation Week, which is super exciting!  You will also be able to enter a giveaway for a chance to win copies of Bird Wizards 1 and 2 as well as a set of the other zines featured that day.  As always, you can also find Bird Wizards 1 and 2 in my Etsy Shop.  There are only a few copies of Bird Wizards 1 left, for real, so if you have been meaning to get it, now is the time.  Bird Wizards 1 was painstakingly hand-assembled off a color copier at my old job, so it won’t be reprinted in it’s current incarnation ever again.  All things must perish, I suppose.
