Patrick and I have this new game where we make drawings for metal bands when we go to their shows in here in Chicago. Hopefully Wolves in the Throne Room do not think I am ultra lame. Rarely does my favor for metal music reveal itself amidst all of my folk-related swoonings, and I admit that I feel slightly silly approaching metal dudes or their merch-tablers to tell them I drew them a picture.
Anyway, Wolves in the Throne Room is basically spectacular, and if you are into black metal, think you might be into metal, or are curious about good metal, you should give them a listen.
